JOB DESCRIPTION

Competitions Administrator

Reports to:

Competitions Manager

Time:

0.8 FTE over 5 days

Summary

Reporting to the Competitions Manager, the Competitions Administrator is responsible for providing an outstanding customer experience and a quality level of junior and senior domestic basketball and netball competitions.

 

It is critical for this role to have a thorough understanding of all competitions and programs offered by Warwick Senators to provide a quality experience to our customers and strive for constant innovation with the Senators team.

 

Role Expectations

 

Communications

·      Respond to enquiries in a timely manner

·      Proactively communicate with competition contacts

·      Work collaboratively with the broader Senators team to deliver quality experiences

 

Competition Administration

·      Lifecycle administration from registration to finals for all competitions

·      Fixture competitions in a timely manner

·      Working collaboratively to ensure appropriate grading of junior and senior competitions

 

Role Attributes

·      Effective organisation and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks during peak times of activity

·      High standard of use of technology including databases, email and the Microsoft package

·      Commitment to continuous improvement

·      High quality written and verbal communication skills

·      Experience in problem-solving and conflict resolution

·      Knowledge of basketball and/or sport competitions

The above role is to commence in January 2025.
