NBL1 Game Night Volunteers

Be part of the action on NBL1 game nights with the Warwick Senators! Volunteers help set up and pack down the court space, assist with food service, sponsor engagement, and support event operations.

Volunteering is a great way to connect with the Warwick Senators community, embracing our You Matter and As One values. Enjoy access to food and drinks while working alongside a dedicated team. Staff arrive two hours before tip-off to set up and stay for a 90-minute pack-down post-game.

Join us and be part of an unforgettable game day experience! Please note that there is no expectation to attend every game night. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Do you have an interest in basketball and have ever wonder how the stats that you can see on the NBL1 West website get there?

If your answer is Yes, then maybe you would be interested in doing stats on game nights.

Stats are done using a laptop and a program where you click on the screen to record the actions during the game.  There are 2 people doing the stats – 1 person who calls all of the action and the 2nd person who inputs the actions into a computer program.

You will need to learn the computer program which will take a number of weeks.  Usually, we train people on a Monday or Wednesday at Bendat Basketball Stadium.

After you show that you can use the program you be rostered onto games with people to help you out until you are comfortable doing games by yourself with a caller.

Down the track we will teach you how to be a caller.

You will have one of the best seats on game night – right on the side of the court.
